Like many children growing up in negativity and unfavorable conditions, I was abused by my caregivers, and that abuse created a paranoia of authoritarian figures in my life. The hurt of being victimized by my own family is still hard to swallow, but the biggest pill is that I didn't know the abuse was actualized. I had to find reason and not just see myself as being weak or overloaded with emotions that I earned from mental imprisonment. I became standoffish when people would want to help me, assuming they had personal motives.

As I learned to rely on myself, I learned to be someone others could rely on because "being the change" became my life's mission. A great man once said, "If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change." That man was the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Like MJ, I advocate for the world and leadership progress to build a better future for all the people of our planet. You don't have to look far to find someone who needs a leg up, a helping hand, or a kind word that could change their life for the better.

The betterment of that life will improve the lives around it, breaking generational curses and negative cycles that have plagued families for centuries. Look around today and find someone who could use you in a positive way, someone you believe in who might not even seemingly believe in themselves, and even someone who has dreams so big you think they sound ridiculously unachievable... because when they achieve the impossible, they will give you something bigger to believe in too.

That is why I created the Arch Angel Tech Program, so people of all backgrounds and circumstances can rekindle trust in people, education, and society once and for all. Our computer literacy program was designed by real people with real-life experiences and answers, not wannabe know-it-alls who learned about the streets from a classroom (that's a different monster we will slay later) in the comfort of their own imaginations of what the real struggles of millions of underserved Americans really look like. We will go into the toughest prisons, halfway houses, re-entry programs, and the actual neighborhoods (don't try this at home, kids) where our people are left abandoned and forgotten, because these resilient people are the future of America's workforce, and without fixing the problem from the inside, we are just putting frosting on lumps of crap... It won't make it cake. Let's trust each other, and trust the process.
